"Stool" Crazy

I was going through some old-family furniture and stumbled upon this stool. The wheels started turning and I found myself at the fabric store picking out upholstery fabric to start decorating one of my unfinished bedrooms.
A couple of days later this was the finished product.

Materials- Stool
                 Upholstery Fabric
                 Padding
Stapler (borrowed my husband's carpentry one)

Step 1: Unscrew the top piece and discard the fabric and padding.
Step 2: Cut padding to size with a box cutter. Place new padding on the old board, wrap with fabric and attach with staples.
Step 3: Sand stool until smooth and wipe down.
Step 4: Spray paint the stool with whatever color paint you like.
Step 5: Reattach the new top with the original screws.

Country Curtain

When we were decorating our house I couldn't find a shower curtain that I loved so I made one...or two. This curtain is white with a woven texture. I took yellow-checkered fabric and sewed it to the front about 1/4 of the way down.

Twine Trashcan

My whole house is full of country homemade crafts and my bathroom is no different. This is my "twine trashcan" To make this trashcan I wrapped a plain, store-bought trashcan with twine string and hot-glued it after each half turn.
